Casita Libertad (lower guest house) is a fully detached casita with private roof terrace, and with its entrance from Calle Libertad.  It’s like a floating house perched above a quiet residential street next to premium homes, yet just a five-minute stroll from the plaza and beach.  For warmer months, there is a bedroom A/C and an exhaust fan.  There is a large covered parking space (but obviously, no car is needed) with additional storage space.

It has a private bedroom (queen bed) and bathroom, semi-open living/kitchen area (with an U-shape living room couch that can sleep two children), patio, plus a private rooftop terrace under a palapa - with a peek-a-boo ocean view (as trees grow, ocean views get smaller).

About Our Location and Name

Of course we are partial because we chose to build our casitas and villa on this lot, but our reason was that houses in the north-end of town with equally nice ocean views are a long walk away from where you will probably go daily (or more) to eat and to enjoy the beach; we enjoy the short walk to the plaza and to most of the many restaurants in little Sayulita, plus we have easier access to the main swimming beach, as well as being closer (walking distance) to the quieter beaches to the south (Playa de Los Muertos and Carasitos).

Designed by well-known architect Felipe Villagomez, in close association with American artist Eric Rudd, the Villa and Casitas have very economical rates.  In addition to paid staff, we will be in Sayulita during the high season and can deal with any problem, should one arise.  Btw, Cielito, the name of the little street, means “little heaven.”  We think it is!)
